Day 33 - (Not) Working 9-5
I had a very slow start this morning, enjoying having my own apartment and the pleasure that is breakfast in my pyjamas! I caught up with Dad on WhatsApp and then headed into the city centre a bit before lunchtime.
I had a few bits and bobs I wanted to sort in the centre - all the exciting things like buying a new charging cable for my phone and recycling socks with holes in them - so got that done and then had a light lunch. This was a wonderfully entertaining half an hour of my life, and I would now like to make a movie about the life of the (very loud) lady who was sat at the table next to me, talking to a VERY patient lady who was her personal shopping client.
It was a beautiful day today with clear blue skies, so I then went for a wander to pick up a few geocaches and take in more of the sights of the city, including some cool Christmas window displays. I tried to take photos of these, but the sun made it pretty much impossible, so you will have to make do with a picture of a church where I found a cache instead. I rather failed with photos today……

I then headed back to my apartment for a bit before heading out for a quick bite to eat with Jon and Dana on New Regent Street. This was conveniently close to the Court Theatre, where we then had tickets to see the joyous musical ‘9 to 5’.

The theatre, which only reopened this year, was modern and cool, and we had great seats up on the balcony. The show itself was a lot of fun, with seemingly everyone in the audience leaving with a beaming smile at the end. 10/10 - would highly recommend!
