Day 41 - Into Austria (via Czechia)

In theory, I had some time this morning before my train to see a bit more of Krakow. In reality, it was hot, I had my rucksack to think about, and I didn’t massively fancy the walk, so instead I took advantage of the massive shopping mall next to the station and spent a couple of hours drinking tea and reading my book in the nice air-con.

It was then a six hour train journey from Krakow to Vienna, mainly going through Czechia (somewhere I haven’t planned on going on this trip but could yet be factored in). It was a nice scenic journey - nothing to complain about at all!

On arrival in Vienna, I managed to get my first Austrian cache within five minutes (it was at the station!) and then navigated the underground to my hotel.

I am vey much in the centre of Vienna and there are definitely big city vibes here! The good thing about that is that there are still plenty of restaurant options for me.

Tomorrow should be a day of exploring, so more to report!
