Day 28 - A Travel Day into Estonia

There isn’t a huge amount to report today - it started with a relatively slow morning in Helsinki and a short tram trip to get to the port for my ferry. I arrived far earlier than I needed to, but as Dad said to my WhatsApp, it was better than being late.

The ferry crossing was very uneventful. The boat was really busy. There were various cafes, bars, restaurants and seating areas on board, and all were full of people. I managed to get some lunch and generally just relaxed until we reached Tallinn.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly my first geocache in Estonia - at the port no less!

It was a short walk from Tallinn port to my CityBox. It is super modern and really nice, which is lucky because shortly after I arrived the heavens opened and the weather has been rubbish since!

I was going to have a quiet evening (and actually posted as much on here - this is an edit!) but then decided I would have a walk to the old town in a break between rain showers. Wow, it is beautiful! I am super excited to explore properly tomorrow.

Sadly Parkrun has not made it to Estonia tomorrow, so it will be a Parkrun-free Saturday, but there will be lots and lots of sightseeing instead!
